The second release by outstanding New York bassist Linda Oh, Initial Here draws on her rich cultural heritage and broad range of inspirations. Featuring mostly a sax-piano-bass drums quartet playing Oh’s dynamic compositions, the album also features a Bernstein / Stavinsky mashup and a voice-bass-bassoon ballad.
