There are several Freddie Jackson anthologies on the market, but Capitol's GREATEST HITS, released in 2007, bests them all. Not only does GREATEST HITS contain all Jackson's number one R&B singles from the 1980s, including "Rock Me Tonight" and "You Are My Lady," but, at 18 tracks, it offers the most complete overview of Jackson's career. Strong sequencing and excellent liner notes round out the package, but it's the singer's smoother-than-smooth performances on a host of classic tracks that make this the go-to Jackson compilation of choice.
