Face the Music is another set of sophisticated, adult-oriented R&B from Avant. His seventh album features the slow-grooving "You & I," in which he reunites with Keke Wyatt -- his duet partner on the 2000 Top Five R&B cover of Ren? & Angela's "My First Love." The singer either wrote or co-wrote each song with production assistance from the likes of Tim & Bob, Dre Hen, and Kajun. It's his first release for the EMI-affiliated MO-B Entertainment label.
